Solving Challenges in Equipment for European Export: CE-Compliant Model Added to the “RCS Series” Wireless Power Supply System for Conveying Equipment

B&PLUS will begin sales of a newly added CE-marking compliant model, the RCS600 long-distance type, as part of its RCS Series wireless charging systems for transfer equipment, which have achieved cumulative sales of more than 10,000 units.

This product is designed for equipment manufacturers and users considering the introduction of systems for the European market or overseas factories in the field of factory automation, particularly for transport robots such as AGVs and AMRs. It helps reduce the burden of complying with local standards and supports smooth equipment startup.

RCS Series

The RCS Series is a wireless power supply system capable of supplying power without contact.

It eliminates causes of problems associated with contact-type power supply, such as contact wear and poor contact, helping reduce the risk of equipment downtime and supporting stable operation.

The system supports automatic charging for AGVs and AMRs. By charging between travel operations, it significantly reduces the frequency of battery replacement, helping reduce maintenance workload and enabling high-uptime operation.

The lineup supports a wide range of installation conditions and applications, including the standard type, a compact small-size type, a long-distance type that can be embedded in metal surfaces, and an environmental-resistant type with dustproof and waterproof construction.

In addition, power supply in the 120 W to 2,000 W class enables charging in a short period of time, contributing to improved overall equipment operating rates. It also helps optimize total cost over long-term operation.

With the addition of this new CE-marking compliant model, the RCS Series can now support expansion into overseas markets, including the European market.

Future Development

The RCS Series has been installed in more than 10,000 units cumulatively and is widely adopted both in Japan and overseas.

To further strengthen expansion into overseas markets, we will continue to expand the lineup of CE-marking compliant products and promote product development with an eye toward compliance with standards in various countries, including FCC and UL certification.

In addition to standard wireless power supply systems ranging from 120 W to 2,000 W, we are also developing high-power products in the 3 kW, 7 kW, and 10 kW classes, aiming to support an even wider range of applications.
