[New Product] Launch of Charging Expansion Unit to Maximize AGV and AMR Operating Time

B&PLUS is pleased to announce the launch of sales for the RCS-BTC-7A-LI24 Charging Expansion Unit for AGVs and AMRs (hereinafter, “the Product”).

The Product is a charging expansion unit that supplies power from an additional battery to an existing battery. By combining it with a battery that supports fast charging, the Product effectively expands battery capacity and enables efficient power supply, helping to extend operating time while reducing charging time.

■ Development Background

B&PLUS has developed and supplied wireless power transfer systems that have been adopted in a wide range of transfer robots, including AGVs, AMRs, and UGVs.

Through these applications, we have received many requests from customers seeking to extend operating time.

A common approach is to increase battery capacity. However, increasing battery capacity also extends charging time. In addition, many genuine batteries do not support fast charging, which can reduce operational efficiency.

To address these issues, B&PLUS focused on a system configuration that separates a battery supporting fast charging from the existing battery and supplies power efficiently by utilizing the characteristics of each battery. 


The Product solves these challenges through a new power supply method that combines batteries with different characteristics.

By combining the Product with a wireless power transfer system and a fast-charging-compatible battery, users can easily build a contactless fast charging system. This enables both automated charging and highly efficient operation of transfer robots.

Going forward, B&PLUS will expand its lineup of charging voltage and charging current options to support various battery specifications.

In addition, with wireless power transfer technology at the core, B&PLUS will further develop its offerings into total solutions that include batteries, peripheral devices, and even AGV and AMR systems.

Alongside our standard wireless charging systems ranging from 120 W to 2000 W, we are also developing high-power products in the 3 kW, 7 kW, and 10 kW classes. B&PLUS will continue to accelerate the expansion of AGV and AMR application areas and respond to a wide range of customer needs.
