Compact, Wide-Range, and Metal-Mountable: “Wireless Charging System for Small AMRs” [Advance Orders Now Open Ahead of Release]

B&PLUS will add a new 300 W model to the RCS Series, a highly regarded product line with sales of more than 10,000 units for wireless charging applications for lithium-ion batteries and lead-acid batteries.

Product Overview

Until now, this series has mainly been installed in AGVs and AMRs. On the vehicle side, the “power receiving head,” which receives power wirelessly, and the “charging unit,” which controls battery charging, were separate components. With this product, however, we have successfully integrated these parts into a thin, unified design. Although it is the smallest model in the 100 W to 1 kW range, at 300 W, it enables compact and simple installation.

In addition, while the wireless power transmission range of the existing series required users to select either a 0–20 mm or 20–40 mm distance depending on the head used, this product achieves a transmission distance of 0–30 mm and a lateral misalignment tolerance of ±30 mm with a single model. This relaxes the positioning accuracy required when a vehicle stops at a charging station, allowing stable charging even with a rougher stopping position.

Distance: the distance between the transmitting surface and receiving surface of the heads

Misalignment: the lateral offset of the receiving surface relative to the transmitting surface

Thanks to these two features, this model contributes particularly to improved design flexibility and operational efficiency in the field of compact AMRs.

For the 300 W model, the power receiving head and charging unit are integrated,
completing the installation in a space close to that required for one 600 W model head.

Installation in compact AMRs is a particularly effective application.

The power supply head has a thin and wide design, expanding the wireless power transmission range.

The connector cable connected to the battery uses a one-touch waterproof connector.
