Wireless Charging Systems for AGVs and AMRs Surpass 10,000 Units in Cumulative Sales
We are pleased to announce that cumulative sales of our wireless charging systems for material handling equipment, including AGVs and AMRs, have surpassed 10,000 units. Adoption of this product has continued to expand for applications supporting the automated operation of AMRs and AGVs, particularly in the manufacturing industry.
What Is a Wireless Charger for AGVs and AMRs?
This product is a wireless charging system designed to automate battery charging. It was developed to reduce the workload associated with manual charging.
Using contactless charging based on electromagnetic induction, the system eliminates the need for connector connection, battery replacement, and battery management work. This enables continuous operation of AMRs and other automated transport equipment.
Sales Performance
Since its launch in March 2019, cumulative sales of the product reached 10,000 units in FY2025.
In addition, sales volume in FY2025 increased by 18% compared with the previous fiscal year, with adoption continuing to expand mainly in the manufacturing sector.
Applicable products: RCS600 Series, RCS1000 Series, RCS2000 Series, and SIPS1000A Series. Sales volume is calculated based on the combined number of power-supply-side units and power-receiving-side units.
Background to Increased Adoption
In recent years, as the use of AMRs and AGVs has become more widespread, reducing downtime and workload associated with battery charging has become an important issue.
With conventional manual charging, or contact-type charging that requires vehicles to return to a charging station, operations must be temporarily interrupted for charging. This can lead to lower operating efficiency.
This product allows charging during short stops, such as standby time during operation or loading and unloading. As a result, dedicated charging stops and battery replacement work are no longer required, contributing to improved operating efficiency.
Another highly valued feature is that charging can be performed without human intervention, allowing AMRs to continue operating during unmanned periods, such as at night.

Main Applications and Use Cases
This product is used for the following applications:
・Automatic charging during loading, unloading, and standby time
・Opportunity charging during short stops
・Improved battery charging safety through connectorless operation
Customers have recognized the following benefits:
・Charging can be performed during standby time or loading and unloading, eliminating the need for additional downtime
・No need to move to a charging station
・Battery replacement work is eliminated, reducing operator workload
・Charging can be performed without human intervention, enabling operation during unmanned periods such as nighttime
・No electrical contacts are required, reducing the risk of connection errors and electric shock
Future Outlook
Encouraged by reaching cumulative sales of 10,000 units, we will continue to enhance our technology and quality. We will also strengthen our efforts to expand charging output ranges, develop new charging methods, and create new models designed for industrial applications.
